Reason 2: He made Jews live in ghettos.
Reason 3: The Jews did not have the same rights as others.
- Hitler used the swastika, an ancient form of cross, as the Nazi badge. The name meant ‘good luck’.
- World War 2 began on the 3rd September 1939 when Britain and France declared war on Germany. It began because Hitler’s troops had invaded Poland and Britain and France had protested. Hitler refused to withdraw and Britain and France declared war on Germany.
- Blitzkrieg was also known as ‘lightning war’. Firstly, tank divisions would go into a country to crush their defences. Then the air force supported the tanks. After that, the infantry attacked when the planes were finished.
- Hitler invaded Russia because he knew if he could capture Russia almost all of Europe would be under German control.
